Rev. Kathleen Ross passed away on Sunday May 24th, 2009. There will be two memorial services for Kathleen Ross during the month of June. You are cordially invited to attend either or both of them.

· Saturday, June 13, from 3:00-5:00 PM. Santa Monica Friends Meeting, 1440 Harvard Ave., Santa Monica, CA 90404. (East of Cloverfield between Santa Monica Blvd and Broadway.) This service will be conducted in the manner of Friends (Quakers), with silent, open worship preceded by the singing of Kathleen’s favorite hymns, and followed by a reception and time of fellowship.

· Saturday, June 27, from 3:00-5:00 PM. First United Methodist Church of Torrance, 1551 El Prado, Torrance, CA 90501. This will be a service of Death and Resurrection in accordance with the United Methodist Hymnal and will be followed by a reception and time of fellowship.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be sent to the Foundation of the California-Pacific Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, PO Box 6006, Pasadena, CA 91102 or to Santa Monica Friends Meeting (Quakers) at 1440 Harvard Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404.

(I need a short description of who you are since Kathleen had so many friends and people whose lives she touched I can’t keep track of them all!)

There will be three transitions workshops offered in the Cal Pac Conference for Clergy leaving appointments and or coming into new appointments.
